Lesson Overview

  1. 1Introduction to the hand signal demonstration setup in the parking lot
  2. 2Sequential colleague demonstration of each signal, covering movement commands, turning, load operations, and distance guidance
  3. 3Stop signal demonstrated in both its standard and emergency forms

Skills Acquired

  • Recognize the hand signals used to guide equipment operators on the apron
  • Understand the purpose and correct technique of each signal, including directional signals from the operator's point of view
  • Distinguish signals for movement, direction, distance, and stopping to support safe communication on the ramp

Lesson Procedure
